WE WANT TO TAKE A MOMENT TO RECOGNIZE an important figure in all of our lives—our mothers!
We’re grateful for all of the time, attention, and care our mothers provide for us throughout our upbringing and beyond. The positive impact they have is immeasurable and we want to express what they mean to us this Mother’s Day.
What We Love About Our Moms
From Shannon: First off, what is there not to love about my mom?! She has been my #1 fan from day one. From bad hair styles to helping me choose which college to go to, she has been one of the biggest supporters throughout my entire life. I wouldn't be where I am today without her (literally). I can always count on her to find the things that I've lost and she always gives the best advice. Not to mention we have an awesome Mothers Day tradition that consists of running The Color Run 5k in Seattle (see photo below) and picking out Mothers Day flowers at Pikes Place Market after the run. Love you mom!
From The Mother On Our Team… What Do You Love Most About Being A Mom?
From Becky: Oh the glamorous joys of motherhood :-) If you're a patient or parent at Sno Valley Ortho, you are probably aware of all the hilarious things my son does and says - he is honestly one of the funniest people I have ever known! If you've never heard any of the stories, PLEASE ask because I guarantee they will brighten your day. There are so many things about motherhood that I love and look forward to every day. What I love MOST about being a mom is waking up in the morning to a 2 1/2 year old with the biggest smile on his face and excited to start the day. I love the joy that all the simple things in life bring him (like hearing an airplane, seeing a cat, or getting a sticker at the grocery store). I love watching him overcome milestones and feel so proud of himself and shout "I DID IT!" (even though it breaks my heart to see him grow up so fast). Being a mom is the best job in the world and I can't wait to meet baby boy #2 in July!! <3
Mothers, We Appreciate You!
